Barone Roberto

Dr. Roberto Barone graduated in Medicine at the University of Florence (Italy) in 1982 and graduated in Dentistry in 1987 at the same University.

He works in Florence; his practice exclusively deals with oral surgery and implantology.

Founder of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery and Implantology (SICOI) in 1990, of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) in 2015, and of the Academy for Paediatric Oral Surgery (APOS) in 2016.

1999-2000: President of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery.

Past president of the Academy for Pediatric Oral Surgery (APOS).

Author of scientific articles and of the books: “Denti del giudizio inclusi” (Impacted third molars) and “Le cisti dei mascellari” (Maxillary cysts).

For over 20 years, he has been teaching oral surgery and implant surgery, and has been organizing an annual course in oral surgery as well as several courses in implant surgery.

He has been a speaker in over 500 courses and conferences on the topics of oral and implant surgery.
