Olivi Giovanni

Giovanni Olivi is native of Rome, Italy where He completed his studies graduating cum laude in Medicine and Surgery (MD) at ”La Sapienza” University of Rome, and specializing cum laude in Dentistry (DDS) at ”Tor Vergata” University of Rome. Giovanni also earned the 4 years postgraduated specialization in Esthetic Medicine at Fondazione Fatebenefratelli of Rome.

At the begin of 2000, Giovanni developed a deep interest in the cutting edge technologies, expecially the operative microscope and laser. In 2002 He started his laser education at University of Florence where he accomplished the postgraduated diploma in ”Laser Dentistry”; passionated in these technologies, he dived in laser education at international level achieving the Standard proficiency from the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD)  in 2002, and the certification from International Society of Laser Dentistry (ISLD) in 2004. Then he completed the laser education curriculum accomplishing in 2006 the Advanced Proficency from ALD and achieving the Master status, always from ALD in 2009. In 2005 he became Active Member of the Italian Academy of Microscope Dentistry, that he served as scientific secretary in 2017-2018. In 2007 Giovanni has been awarded from Academy of Laser Dentistry with the “Leon Goldman Award” for clinical exellence.

He is currently Active member of Italian Society of Endodontics (SIE), Active Member of Italian Society of Laser Dentistry (SILO), member of Italian Society of Paediatric Dentistry (SIOI), member and Chair of Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD Italy Study Club).

At Catholic University of Sacred Hearth of Rome Giovanni Olivi is currently the scientific coordinator of the ”Laser Dentistry” Master (II level master course).

Giovanni Olivi in his office uses the most advanced technologies to provide his patients the best and minimally invasive treatments, especially in the area of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry, using the operative microscope, lasers, 3-D imaging and CAD-CAM technology to reach the more comfortable and esthetic results. International speaker in 5 continents, Giovanni authored more than 80 scientific peer-reviewed articles, 4 text-books and several chapters in different dental books.

Giovanni Olivi is a founding member and president for 2021-2023 of the International Academy of Innovative Dentistry (IAID).
