Speaker: Prof. Mauro Rigolone

Technological innovation is a critical driver in the advancement of dental surgery, offering significant improvements in clinical precision, safety and efficiency.

This workshop explores how the integration of cutting-edge tools, such as augmented reality (AR) and 3D imaging systems, is transforming clinical workflows in dental surgery. Attendees will be introduced to a suite of advanced devices including intraoral scanners, surgical microscopes and stereoscopic 3D cameras, with a focus on their synergistic application in the operative environment.

A highlight of the session is the FALKO 3D System, an immersive visual integration platform designed to unify multiple imaging sources in real time directly within the surgeon’s field of view. The system’s modular design allows independent or synchronized use of its components, streamlining video signal management and enhancing surgical interactivity and efficiency.
