WORKSHOPS – HANDS-ON

Periodontal regeneration:
what are the possibilities in the age of implantology?

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

Should we extract a periodontally compromised tooth or not? Does the implant offer a better prognosis? What surgical and non-surgical techniques could we use? The course will answer these questions by examining the critical issues in the choice and the possibilities offered by periodontal regeneration. What is present in the literature regarding regenerative techniques and the use of biomaterials will be briefly analyzed, to guide us in a path that is as evidence-based as possible. Above all, the results of the different techniques will be discussed, starting from the non-surgical approach. With the help of clinical cases we will learn which surgical approaches are recommended based on the type of defects and the surrounding tissues, the advantages and limitations of the different techniques for both the operator and the patient. The practical session will allow you to operate under the guidance of the speaker. You will learn in a clinical way the various techniques from minimally invasive approaches to those that use muco- gingival surgery.

What to expect from the course

The course combines a solid theoretical foundation with an in-depth practical session offering

  • Up-dated insights into the fundamental principles of periodontal regeneration
  • Presentation of the most innovative techniques and materials
  • Practical exercises on models to gain direct experience in regenerative techniques
  • Clinical cases and guidelines to apply what has been learned in daily practice

Who is it for?

The course is aimed at dentists who wish to approach and/or improve the management of patients with complex periodontal needs, improving clinical results and the quality of the therapies offered.

Don’t miss the opportunity to enrich your professional skills with a course that combines innovation, theory and practice in a single training experience.
