It all begins on Friday, June 13 with a dynamic educational journey into the “Green Path” series of lectures focusing on Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry, held by the visionary minds of Style Italiano who’s groundbreaking insights and innovations continue to redefine excellence in restorative and esthetic dentistry.
9:00 a.m. – The Lectio Magistralis kicks off with Angelo Putignano, co-founder of Style Italiano, a graduate in Dentistry from the Polytechnic University of the Marche and a professor of Restorative Dentistry, alongside Walter Devoto, co-founding partner of Style Italiano and visiting professor at the Graduate Course in Esthetic Reconstructive Dentistry at the Université de la Méditerranée in Marseille, France sharing their “12 Years of Experience in Advancing Dentistry Worldwide.”
10:00-10:30 – Paulo Monteiro, the Portoguese President of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD), will deliver a lecture on the role of photography in dentistry. He will highlight how it has become an essential tool for diagnostics, treatment planning, legal documentation, and education, while also emphasizing the importance of ethical and responsible use in marketing on social media.
10:30-11:00 – Lisa Fernandes Gonçalves from Portugal will present her lecture, “Anterior Esthetic Rehabilitation: Benefits and Limitations of the Digital Workflow,” exploring the advantages and challenges of integrating digital technology into esthetic rehabilitation. She holds a Master’s degree in Oral Rehabilitation and Dental Esthetics and serves as a professor of Esthetic Rehabilitation in the Master’s Program of Oral Rehabilitation at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.
11:00-11:30 – Before the break, Valentin Vervack from the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Ghent in Belgium will introduce the audience to the use of digital protocols based on Optishade colorimetric imaging. This innovative approach provides a consistent method for color matching, eliminating the guesswork involved in selecting the correct composite shades.
12:15-12:45 – Following the break, Vincenzo Tosco, didactic and clinical professor in Ancona, will explore the use of new bioactive materials as a replacement for dentin in clinical procedures such as direct and indirect pulp capping, pulpotomy, and perforation repair.
12:45-13:15 Margarida Henrique will close the session. Co-author of the book “Veneers” (published by Quintessenza), active member of Style Italiano, Certified Member of the ESCD (European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry).with a private practice dedicated to Surgery and Prosthodontics in Seville, will lecture on “Esthetic Pursuit: The Role of AI in Dental Shade Selection and Treatment Planning” demonstrating how important the creation of protocols is in achieving the correct planned esthetic result and how crucial they are in obtaining predictable outcomes.
Italian Style Hands-On Session – Friday, June 13, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
As part of the Green Path in Restorative & Conservative Dentistry, this session will offer attendees up to 20 ADA CERP / AGD PACE CE credits together with an amazing expert-led hands-on experience.
Session Overview:
Participants will be divided into four rotating groups across four learning stations for in-depth discussions on instruments, materials, and techniques.
Each station includes a 30-minute live demo by a leading expert.
