Mandibular condyle advancement devices have been used for countless years to intercept and resolve many aspects of TMD such as reducible disc displacement, clenching and/or bruxism, muscle tension with or without orofacial pain, and in recent years also for intercept and reduce snoring and obstructive sleep APNEAs.
In this course we will illustrate the various devices that have entered the international literature such as Gelb’s MORA, MCartty’s FARRAR, DITRA and the RIPARA Lingual Ring, but we will also propose some MADs that have now entered common use.
