9.00 – 10.00 –\u00a0<\/strong>Katrin Bekes<\/a><\/strong>, Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the University Clinic of Dentistry at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria opens the Pedodontic Session with a lecture on \u201c Chalky Teeth – Diagnosis and Current Treatment Concept in Patients With Molar Incisor Hypomineralization\u00a0 (MIH)\u201d highlighting the different aspects related to MIH, from its etiology, diagnosis and classification to current treatment options.<\/p>\n

10.00 – 11.00\u00a0–<\/strong>\u00a0Next,\u00a0Maria Giovanna Barboni<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0former contract professor in the International MD Program Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy, provides updates in her lecture \u201cPulp Therapy in the Daily Routine of the Paediatric Dentist: Current Events\u201d.<\/p>\n

11.45 – 12.45 PM\u00a0–\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Following the break\u00a0Figen Seymen<\/a><\/strong>, Chair and Program director at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of Alt\u0131nbas University, Turkey and President of the World Federation of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD) will focus on research and the evidence about Amelogenesis Imperfecta (IA).\u00a0He will review the genes and mutations underlying AI presenting in isolation from other health problems, the proteins they encode, and knowledge of their roles in amelogenesis, combining evidence from human phenotypes<\/p>\n

12:45 PM – 1:30 PM – Maria El Khoury<\/strong>\u00a0has a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon and an advanced diploma in Pediatric Dentistry from Dental College- Beirut, Lebanon. Having accomplished advanced training at the oral pathology department at Piti\u00e9 Salpetri\u00e8re Hospital in Paris she currently is working on a PhD in pediatric dentistry. She owns a private clinic in Beruit, Lebanon. Her lecture will provide updates on\u00a0 \u201cThe Growing Challenge of Traumatic Dental Injuries: Modern Approaches to Diagnosis and Management.\u201d<\/p>\n

Saturday, June 14th\u00a0–\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0The focus shifts to Orthodontics, exploring the\u00a0latest advancements<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0aligner therapy<\/strong>, celebrating over\u00a020 years of progress<\/strong>\u00a0in this revolutionary treatment that has transformed smiles worldwide.<\/p>\n

9:00 – 9:45 – Renato Cocconi,<\/strong>\u00a0specialist in Orthodontics, internationally renowned speaker and newly elected President of the scientific committee of the Angle Society of Europe with a private practice in Parma, Italy where he directs the face orthodontic surgery center in collaboration with the primary surgeon Prof. Mirco Raffaini, will discuss Digital Planning: The Common Denominator for the Orthodontic Treatment with Aligners and Fixed Appliances\u201d, discussing how digital planning is the baseline for orthodontic treatment with aligners and fixed appliances, following common criteria and a logical sequence.<\/p>\n

9:45 – 10:30\u00a0–<\/strong>\u00a0Following,\u00a0Alessandro Greco<\/a><\/strong>, Past President of the Italian Society of Bidimensional Technique (S.I.Te.Bi<\/a>), author of scientific articles in national and international journals, speaker at national and international courses and conferences. and a freelancer in Rome, Italy dedicated to orthodontics will talk about \u201cOrthodontics with Aligners from 0 to 100 in 20 Yers of Experience\u201d, exploring the use of aligners as a valid therapeutic alternative. \u00a0By fully understanding the advantages and limitations of the system it is possible to determine those cases in which their use offers an effective advantage.<\/p>\n

10:30 – 11:15\u00a0–\u00a0Giorgio Iodice<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0with a Masters in \u201cOrthodontics\u201d and a PhD in \u201cOral Sciences\u201d, Honorary Senior Lecturer and Clinical Tutor at the University of Naples Federico II and at the University of Otago (New Zealand), Vice President 2024-2026 of the Italian Board of Orthodontics (IBO), past-President of the European Begg Society of Orthodontics (EBSO), past-President 2020-2021 of the Italian Association of Specialists in Orthodontics (ASIO), past-President of the Italian Society of Aligners (SIALIGN) will explore the \u201cLimits of Aligners: Recognise and Overcome describing clinical workflows to combine aligners and skeletal anchorage in different clinical scenarios. Attendees will be led to more simplified and predictable approaches, from easy clinical management and routinely applicable in everyday orthodontic clinical practice.<\/p>\n

12:00 – 12:45<\/strong>\u00a0– Ending the session\u00a0Vincenzo D\u2019Ant\u00f2<\/a><\/strong>, with a Masters in Orthodontics, a Masters in TMJ Disorders and a Master in Lingual Orthodontics a Masters in Sleep Dentistry, a PhD in \u201cMaterials and Structural Engineering\u201d, a second PhD in \u201cOral Sciences\u201d, Past President of the Italian Society for Biomechanics (SIBOS). Dr D\u2019Ant\u00f2, Associate Editor of AJODO and OCR, author of numerous scientific papers, lecturer in international congresses in more than 20 countries and currently associate professor at the School of Orthodontics of University of Naples Federico II will intervene on \u201cOrthodontic Treatment with Aligners: From Myths to Reality\u201d defining aligner application scope and providing clear guidelines for their use.<\/p>\n
