These special sessions are free and open to all congress participants.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/congressaio.it\/en\/aio-academy\/\"><strong><u>AIO Academy Session<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2:30 pm &#8211; 3:45 pm &#8211; Vincenzo Musella, Cultural Secretary of\u00a0 the Italian Dental Association AIO, founder and director of the AIO Academy, will coordinate the session held by the brilliant upcoming lecturers Tommaso Ghedini, Davide Guglielmi, Francesco Iacono and Luca Toselli dedicated to the \u201cRecovery of the Compromised Tooth: Opportunity or Limit?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Musella explains: &#8220;We have always shared a strong love for our profession at AIO: that feeds us, from which we draw enthusiasm and energy. We think of young people as an engine of continuity for our Association&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/congressaio.it\/en\/congress-closure\/\"><strong><u>Special Presentation:\u00a0 <\/u>\u201c<\/strong><strong>From dental<\/strong><strong> ergonomics to dental bio-ergonomics\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>(Lifestyle for dentists and the <\/strong><strong>dental team)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3:45 &#8211; 5:00 pm &#8211; Antonio Pelliccia, Adjunct Professor of Health Economics, professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Rome and at the Vita e Salute San Raffaele University of Milan also a member of the American Marketing Association, will explore the dental market in the face of the evolution of medicine.<\/p>\n<p>As Artificial Intelligence (AI) begins taking over various human tasks, from repetitive actions to cognitive processes, it\u2019s becoming clear that Emotional Intelligence (EI) and relationship-building skills are more important than ever. In today\u2019s VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) world, technological advancements, particularly in AI, are reshaping both our social structures and workplaces. As a result, \u201csoft\u201d skills like emotional intelligence are critical for professionals to adapt and thrive in this evolving landscape.<\/p>\n<p>For dental professionals, this shift highlights the importance of strengthening skills like empathy, communication, and interpersonal relationships, elements that machines can\u2019t replicate. While AI may assist with clinical tasks, patients still value the human touch and personalized care, which are essential for building trust and delivering quality service. In an era where perceived value, quality, and economic factors influence how services are evaluated, dentistry, like other \u00a0patient oriented professions, must prioritize these \u201chuman\u201d qualities to stay relevant and successful.<\/p>\n<p>Following, join Professor Carlo Guastamacchia as he explores a crucial yet often overlooked issue in dentistry: the evolution of \u201cDental Ergonomics.\u201d Over 50 years ago, Professor \u201cTam\u00e0\u201d introduced the term and its principles to help minimize physical strain and stress for dental professionals. Since then, much has changed, and after nearly 70 years of experience, Professor Tam\u00e0 has revisited these principles to adapt them to today\u2019s dental world.<\/p>\n<p>Dental professionals, dentists, hygienists, and assistants, are facing new and varied stresses. These include not just the physical demands of the job but also external pressures, such as dealing with patients who have been influenced by unreliable outside sources, leading to misconceptions about symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The professor\u2019s intervention looks at these challenges holistically, integrating both professional and personal well-being.
