This world-class event kicks off its “Blue Path” lecture series, focusing on Pedodontics and Orthodontics awarding participating dentists with 20 ADA CERP\/AGD PACE CE credits.<\/p>\n

Friday, June 13th<\/u><\/strong> – <\/strong>The spotlight will be on Pedodontics, with leading international experts sharing the latest strategies and updates on pulp therapy, state of the art ortho-perio- restorative solutions, the treatment of genetic defects, hypomineralization, and trauma.<\/p>\n

9.00 – 10.00 – Katrin Bekes<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the University Clinic of Dentistry at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria opens the Pedodontic Session with a lecture on \u201c Chalky Teeth – Diagnosis and Current Treatment Concept in Patients With Molar Incisor Hypomineralization\u00a0 (MIH)\u201d highlighting the different aspects related to MIH, from its etiology, diagnosis and classification to current treatment options.<\/p>\n

10.00 – 11.00 –<\/strong> Next, Maria Giovanna Barboni<\/strong>, former contract professor in the International MD Program Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy, provides updates in her lecture \u201cPulp Therapy in the Daily Routine of the Paediatric Dentist: Current Events\u201d.<\/p>\n

11.45 – 12.45 PM – <\/strong>\u00a0Following the break Figen Seymen<\/strong>, Chair and Program director at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of Alt\u0131nbas University, Turkey and President of the World Federation of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD) will focus on research and the evidence about Amelogenesis Imperfecta (IA).\u00a0He will review the genes and mutations underlying AI presenting in isolation from other health problems, the proteins they encode, and knowledge of their roles in amelogenesis, combining evidence from human phenotypes<\/p>\n

12:45 PM – 1:30 PM – Maria El Khoury<\/strong> has a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon and an advanced diploma in Pediatric Dentistry from Dental College- Beirut, Lebanon. Having accomplished advanced training at the oral pathology department at Piti\u00e9 Salpetri\u00e8re Hospital in Paris she currently is working on a PhD in pediatric dentistry. She owns a private clinic in Beruit, Lebanon. Her lecture will provide updates on\u00a0 \u201cThe Growing Challenge of Traumatic Dental Injuries: Modern Approaches to Diagnosis and Management.\u201d<\/p>\n

4:00 PM \u2013 18.00 PM<\/strong> – The afternoon will be dedicated to the\u00a0 multidisciplinary Plenary Session beginning with, among the other speakers, Marco Veneziani, contributing author of numerous texts , Reviewer for the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, and Fabio Federici Canova, Specialist in Orthodontics, Adjunct Professor at Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Brescia with their lecture \u201cOrtho-Resto: Integrated Orthodontic-Restorative Solutions\u201d ,illustrating the State-of the-Art in orthodontic and restorative rehabilitations, starting from simple cases up to the most complex ones, followed by Daniela Garbo, international lecturer and author of scientific articles in international journals along with Gualtiero Mandelli, Contract Professor in Orthodontics \u00a0at the School of Specialization in Orthodontics at the Vita e Salute San Raffaele, will focus on the \u201cOrtho-Perio Approach: Interdisciplinary Planning of\u00a0 Periodontally Guided Tooth Movement in the Patient with or Without Loss of Attachment\u201d highlighting the importance of an integrated \u201cortho-perio-prosthetic\u201d flow to facilitate prosthetic restorations and implant placement aimed at ensuring the success and durability of results.<\/p>\n

Saturday, June 14th<\/u><\/strong> – <\/strong>\u00a0The focus shifts to Orthodontics, exploring the latest advancements<\/strong> in aligner therapy<\/strong>, celebrating over 20 years of progress<\/strong> in this revolutionary treatment that has transformed smiles worldwide.<\/p>\n

9:00 – 9:45 – Renato Cocconi,<\/strong> specialist in Orthodontics, internationally renowned speaker and newly elected President of the scientific committee of the Angle Society of Europe, will discuss Digital Planning: The Common Denominator for the Orthodontic Treatment with Aligners and Fixed Appliances\u201d, discussing how digital planning is the baseline for orthodontic treatment with aligners and fixed appliances, following common criteria and a logical sequence.<\/p>\n

9:45 – 10:30 –<\/strong> Following, Alessandro Greco<\/strong>, Past President of S.I.Te.Bi, author of scientific articles in national and international journals, speaker at national and international courses and conferences, will talk about \u201cOrthodontics with Aligners from 0 to 100 in 20 Yers of Experience\u201d, exploring the use of aligners as a valid therapeutic alternative.<\/p>\n

10:30 – 11:15 – Giorgio Iodice,<\/strong> Vice President 2024-2026 of IBO, past-President of EBSO, past-President 2020-2021 of ASIO, past-President of SIALIGN will explore the \u201cLimits of Aligners: Recognise and Overcome describing clinical workflows to combine aligners and skeletal anchorage in different clinical scenarios.<\/p>\n

12:00 – 12:45<\/strong> – Ending the session Vincenzo D’Anto<\/strong>, Past President of SIBOS. Associate Editor of AJODO and OCR, author of numerous scientific papers, lecturer in international congresses and currently associate professor at the School of Orthodontics of University of Naples Federico II will intervene on \u201cOrthodontic Treatment with Aligners: From Myths to Reality\u201d defining aligner application scope and providing clear guidelines for their use.<\/p>\n

The official language of the meeting will be English. For those other languages simultaneous translation will be provided. Certificates of Participation will be provided to those attendees making request. Sessions for the entire dental team will also be held so bring them along!<\/p>\n
