It is perhaps the most “spectacular” session of the Italian Dental Association’s International Congress, “Focus on the Gender Shift in Dentistry: A New Perspective or a Future Challenge?” held from June 9-11 in Chia, Sardinia in Italy. It’s the “Red Path” in Periodontology and Implantology, that will take place on Friday June 10th, offering those who attend 18 CE and 23 CERP CREDITS and hosting “big names” such as Ignazio Loi, pioneer of the Biologically Oriented Preparation Technique (BOPT), Mario Semenza, the “master of impressions”, Marco Ferrari, author many recent works and publications and Dirk Duddeck, protagonist in quality control in implantology in Germany. Yes, four men, but the congress is dedicated to gender shift in dentistry, paying homage to gender equality and this couldn’t be done without  equal female representation. The young Martina Bonaudo, the Georgian Mariam Margvelashvili as well as other internationally renowned women will be present to  highlight the plenary session.
